05/8/10-

Quite a bit of news this month. Kevin Herchen came in and after almost 4 years of slow progress we have finished his CD!! I am really happy for him as it has been a long time coming. I expect to hear Kevins tunes on the radio in the near future.

Another wonderful addition to the equipment list this month is a brand spankin new SSL X Desk summing console. The unique desk allows me to gain the warming and stereo resolution that only analog can while still maintaining the control and attributes of mixing via software.

It has been a while since the last update and a lot has happened. We are finishing up a demo video for Treasure Chest and are preparing to do a new video at The Mishnock Barn in the coming weeks. We just purchased our third camera giving us a total of 3 angles to film with. More news to come!!

09/3/09 -

Well after a lot of work and preparation I am now opening up the studio for recording bands. Up until now I have only provided space for acoustic acts. With the addition of both a Clearsonic drum booth and vocal booth I can record any band. Give me a shout and we can set up a session. The first band to take advantage of this new setup will be Botfly. I worked with them mixing their last recording (see below) that had been recorded at Joes place. We will begin tracking here in October!!

Exciting news, We have finished mixing and mastering the new CD by Luay Rifai . Luay was very happy with the results. Visit his website for examples off of the album. Luay is in Syria visiting family before heading back here for a big move to Chicago. Best wishes to you my friend, I will see you in Chicago!!

And as if that is not great news, Botfly my very talented webmasters own band has just released their debut album. Joe was kind enough to let me get involved in the mixing once he had tracked the album in Connecticut.  This album is a rocker so turn those speakers up!
