A Little About Me
I
have been involved in audio for over 25 years, working in both consumer
and professional audio applications and design. I have 8 years of live
sound engineering experience with both local and national acts. I hold
a degree in Electrical Engineering and work during the day (who can
afford not to!?!) as an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer for the
US Navy submarine fleet.
I started Venue Studios because I felt there was a need for low cost, high quality recordings for bands that do not have the finances to go into a studio. Many bands find their best work is done live, to a crowd. Putting a live cut on a CD lets audiences and record companies hear what the band sounds like not just in the controlled environment of the studio but how it translates during their performance.
